Burlington, MA – WindESCo, a wind energy efficiency company that is using a combination of wind farm domain expertise, advanced analytics, and smart sensing to revolutionize how wind farms leverage data to maximize profit and performance, today announced that long time industry executive Dr. Mark Preston will join the WindESCo team as VP Alliances and Delivery.

“Mark is an industry executive with a unique blend of technology and leadership experience that creates a perfect fit for the new VP Alliances and Delivery role,” said Mo Dua, CEO WindESCo. “In this role, Mark will focus on developing strategic alliances with customers that give their businesses a competitive edge and delivering outstanding, scalable customer service. Mark’s 30+ year career spans all aspects of renewable energy technology and operations including wind and solar generation, power conversion, storage, SCADA, microgrid control, construction, and O&M. He served in senior leadership roles for GE, Vestas, Northern Power, Array Technologies, and several early-stage companies.

Mark holds a B.S., Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and a Ph.D., Electrical, Electronic & Control Engineering, from the University of Sussex in England.
